This is just a simple disappearing nine patch pattern but I really like the fun, scrappy effect that the variety of fabrics yield. Her bedroom is shades of pink and green so I went with a preppy colored quilt.
The fabric is a fun combination of fabrics, everything from Flea Market Fancy to Posy.
Such a fun and happy quilt...just like my little buddy!
Linking up with crazy mom's finished it up Friday!
It's wonderful! Even big girls like pink and green! I don't think that today's kids even know what "preppy" means.ReplyDelete
This is great! Pink and green are so fun together, and I love the "eclectic" use of fabrics. I can spot some Aneela Hoey a mile away... I love this quilt! :)ReplyDelete

YAY! How exciting, your little friends are going to so happy with you! Question: do you use batting with minky backings? Or just spray baste to the quilt top? Sorry to pester you with questions :)ReplyDelete

This is wonderful! So many fun fabrics peeking out- those galoshes and foxes make me smile :-)ReplyDelete
