Making Progress on Two Quilts

Breaking my normal linear process of taking one project at a time from start to finish, there is progress to report on two quilts.  Basting has begun on the Penny Patch quilt but came to a grinding halt with the absence of basting spray.

Table basting has significantly reduced my dread of the basting stage.  Thank goodness.

Quilting of the Kasey Kerchief Quilt (say that three times fast) is moving right along.

The binding is ready to go.
 Love those little dog paws.

Hope your week is going well!
Kathy

  1. Your FMQ is gorgeous! ! !
Hope you get your hands on the spray. I haven't tried working with it yet, still basting with pins sitting on the floor.

  2. I hate running out of basting spray, so I bought 3 cans last time. I am almost out of the second one. Your FMQ is looking so good. It is beautiful custom quilting.

  4. Well the upside to running out of spray... Your gorgeous Penny Patch quilt is ready to be admired and given a loving pat whenever you pass by. Thanks for sharing all those close up shots of the quilting on your Kasey Kerchief quilt, too! Looking sew fine!

  5. Beautiful quilting! And I've found working on a few projects at the same time helps me keep me excited about the project and more creative. Also, if I only have time to work at the machine I have a project to work on there. Or if I want to sit and do hand work I've got a project to work on there.
