Children should be allowed to be young and innocent.
This should be a season of childish joy and love for simple things like family time together. Lighting candles, watching the Charlie Brown Christmas Special, looking at house lights, baking sugar cookies with perfectly messy decorations, sharing carefully selected gifts and spending time with all the crazy relatives.
Stop the violence. Stop the insensitivity to the value of human life. Every life.
Listen to each other. Help each other.
Pray for all these families.
My heart is broken. I want to hug my sons...even if they are over six feet tall.
