New England Fall Foliage
To celebrate our wedding anniversary we went on a little adventure to the Mount Washington Hotel this past week. Even on a cloudy day, the drive north was an overture for the scenery to follow.

Rolling mountains of color.
And we returned home to our back yard and our neighbors.

beautiful!! I love leaves on the ground; It makes my heart happy to drive up to our property and see the (reddish dirt) driveway covered in leaves. I asked my husband the other day if he liked it - he said he didn't know - he'd never noticed them (?!)
