Table basting has significantly reduced my dread of the basting stage. Thank goodness.
Quilting of the Kasey Kerchief Quilt (say that three times fast) is moving right along.
The binding is ready to go.
Love those little dog paws.
Hope your week is going well!
Kathy
Your FMQ is gorgeous! ! !
ReplyDeleteHope you get your hands on the spray. I haven't tried working with it yet, still basting with pins sitting on the floor.

I hate running out of basting spray, so I bought 3 cans last time. I am almost out of the second one. Your FMQ is looking so good. It is beautiful custom quilting.
ReplyDeletequilts look lovely, can't wait to see more.I have never thought to stage a quilt on our kayak, I will be trying that come summer!
ReplyDeleteWell the upside to running out of spray... Your gorgeous Penny Patch quilt is ready to be admired and given a loving pat whenever you pass by. Thanks for sharing all those close up shots of the quilting on your Kasey Kerchief quilt, too! Looking sew fine!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilting! And I've found working on a few projects at the same time helps me keep me excited about the project and more creative. Also, if I only have time to work at the machine I have a project to work on there. Or if I want to sit and do hand work I've got a project to work on there.
ReplyDeleteI'll see your Kasey Kerchief Quilt and and raise you a Pretty Penny Patch. ;) Nice work. You look like you're having a lot of fun quilting that Kerchief quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love the dog paws too! Thanks for the close-up pics.
ReplyDeleteLove the colours you've used in your Penny Patch Quilt - very pretty. The dogs' paws are just too cute :)
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Sew Fresh Quilts - I love your Penny Patch Quilt - what a pretty and unusual blend of colours. You reminded me I need another can of 505 - must remember to order from Amazon!
ReplyDeleteYou have some serious FMQ skills! They both are looking good.
