One large piece, quilted and bound. The fabric is Winter Solstice by Jason Yenter. Simply lovely.
Linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts on Friday! Have a great weekend hopefully filled with holiday fun and not holiday stress!
PS I've been spending a lot of time with Angela Walters book beside my sewing machine. Her instructions are so clear and encouraging! As can be seen above, I have a LONG way to go with my FMQ'ing...but I am having fun! I am thankful that the Quilting Police do not frequent this blog...so many infractions!
Ohhh yes, me too. I have some Jason Yenter fabric that I canNOT cut up into small pieces--they just look as if they belong just the way they are printed. I used one for the second side of a reversible wall hanging--not cut up AT ALL!!

There's no rule against leaving the fabric whole and letting it tell the WHOLE story! Your table looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh I think what you have created is wonderful! I have pieces that I want to keep whole too - that is a good idea I may have to copy!
